Welcome and great to see you here!

I could never carry a tune. I am a very bad cook. I am a terrible dancer, and I hate doing laundry.

But I could always see things others did not notice. And I could draw.

My Mother searching for my future Path took me to a local artist back in Ukraine. I was 3 years old and already anxious to hear my verdict. The Artist looked at my drawings and pronounced that "I had it in me". And I knew that I was going to be an Artist. Many things changed since that day, but I still remember that feeling.

And here I am, 25 years later, burning almost every meal I try to make, but drawing and painting things that make people smile and remember their childhood. I was born in 1980 in the beautiful city of Lviv, Ukraine. At the horrible age of 16 my family moved to the US. I took every Art class that was offered in High School, went on to receive a BS in Fine Arts. Spent an amazing year in Florence, learning about Early Renaissance. Moved to NYC. Got married. Became a mother of 2, and finally bought a cat. And that's where I am in my life today.

My Art now is mostly watercolors and occasional collages. I also like to sculpt, and have polymer figures added to my works from time to time. My dream is to illustrate fairy tale books. Drop me a line if you know any Art Directors that could use an illustrator like myself. (And yes, I was published before, but only once so far. So it's not a total shot in the dark. I can meet deadlines and be very responsible)
